Why We Donate
We are all craft lovers here at Chocolate Threads and we strongly feel that we should give back to our community in any way that we can. We don't want our profits just for ourselves we want to give back. Currently we are planning on donating to St.Judes and The Naperville area Humane Society. We are definitely planning on donating to more charities as our business grows.
Ronald Mcdonald House
One of the programs that we decided to donate to is the Ronald Mcdonald house. The Ronald Mcdonald house is a place for families to stay with their children who need treatment for severe medical diseases. Research shows that the parents who stay at a Ronald Mcdonald house get better sleep and have a bigger ability to positively care for their child. The families who stay at the Ronald Mcdonald house get comforting meals, quality sleep, and playtime for children. We hope that our donation will make a family feel comfort and stability on their journey at a Ronald Mcdonald house.
Naperville Area Humane Society
Chocolate threads has decided to donate to the Naperville area Humane Society because of us wanting to give back to our community. The Naperville area Humane Society, is an organization that has a purpose of helping raise various species of animals. We are donating 25% of our profits to them to help support all the animals from the feeding, habitat and well being of all of the critters. From cats to horses they help animals discover the world in an enjoyable manner, along with keeping them safe and healthy. Here at Chocolate Threads we want to encourage this activity to help all of the animals with special needs and certain care to bring happiness to them and for many owners to come. Apart from having exceptional care, the Naperville area Humane Society is also an adoption center! The effort that is put into each and every animal is exceptional and they also make sure that the animal's next owner will be the best choice for them! All of these actions done by the society have brung many joy, which is why we thought they would be a perfect place to donate to. We know that they will do many more great acts in the future!
